Overview

SourceRank offers flexible plans designed to scale with your needs. This guide covers everything about managing your subscription.

Available Plans

Free Plan

Perfect for trying SourceRank:

  • 1 domain
  • Manual scans only
  • 7-day history
  • Basic AEO scoring

Standard Plan - $29/month

For small businesses and startups:

  • Includes 3 domains (+$10/domain for more)
  • Weekly automated scans
  • AI Visibility tracking
  • 5 keywords per domain
  • 90-day history
  • Team collaboration (1 member)
  • Email alerts

Professional Plan - $69/month

For agencies and high-volume monitoring:

  • Includes 10 domains (+$20/domain for more)
  • 3x weekly automated scans
  • AI Visibility tracking
  • 10 keywords per domain
  • 180-day history
  • Team collaboration (5 members)
  • Competitor analysis
  • Priority support

Viewing Your Current Plan

  1. Go to Dashboard → Billing
  2. Your current plan is displayed at the top
  3. View usage metrics:
    • Domains used vs. available
    • AI checks used this month
    • Current billing period

Upgrading Your Plan

Step 1: Go to Billing

Navigate to Dashboard → Billing

Step 2: Select New Plan

Click Upgrade or choose a plan from the comparison

Step 3: Configure Domains

Select how many domains you need:

  • Plans include a base number of domains
  • Add more at per-domain pricing

Step 4: Complete Checkout

  • Enter payment information
  • Review total
  • Confirm subscription

Prorated billing: When upgrading mid-cycle, you’re only charged for the remaining days at the new rate.

Adding More Domains

If you need more domains on your current plan:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Add Domains
  3. Select quantity to add
  4. Confirm purchase

Pricing:

  • Standard: +$10/domain/month
  • Professional: +$20/domain/month

Charges are prorated for the current billing period.

Downgrading Your Plan

To downgrade:

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Change Plan
  3. Select a lower tier
  4. Confirm downgrade

Important:

  • Downgrade takes effect at next billing cycle
  • You keep current features until then
  • If you have more domains than allowed, you’ll need to remove some

Managing Payment Methods

View Payment Method

Go to Billing → Payment Method to see your current card on file.

Update Payment Method

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Manage Payment
  3. Enter new card details
  4. Save changes

Payment Security

  • We use Stripe for secure payment processing
  • Card details are never stored on our servers
  • PCI-compliant infrastructure

Invoices & Receipts

View Invoice History

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Scroll to Invoice History
  3. View all past invoices

Download Invoices

Click any invoice to:

  • View details
  • Download PDF
  • Print receipt

Invoice Contents

Each invoice includes:

  • Invoice number and date
  • Plan and domain breakdown
  • Payment method (last 4 digits)
  • Total charged

Billing Cycle

When You’re Charged

  • Monthly plans: Charged on the same date each month
  • First charge: Immediately upon subscribing
  • Renewals: Automatically on billing date

Failed Payments

If a payment fails:

  1. We’ll email you immediately
  2. You have 7 days to update payment
  3. After 7 days, account downgrades to Free
  4. Your data is preserved for 30 days

Canceling Your Subscription

How to Cancel

  1. Go to Billing
  2. Click Cancel Subscription
  3. Select reason (helps us improve)
  4. Confirm cancellation

What Happens After Cancellation

  • Access continues until end of billing period
  • Account downgrades to Free plan
  • Data beyond Free limits becomes inaccessible (not deleted)
  • You can resubscribe anytime to restore access

Data Retention

After cancellation:

  • Account data: Retained indefinitely
  • Historical scan data: 30 days, then archived
  • To fully delete: Contact support@sourcerank.app

Refund Policy

When Refunds Apply

  • Within 7 days: Full refund if you’re not satisfied
  • Billing errors: Full refund for any mistakes
  • Service issues: Prorated credit for outages

Requesting a Refund

Email support@sourcerank.app with:

  • Your account email
  • Reason for refund request
  • Invoice number (if applicable)

We typically respond within 24 hours.

For organizations needing:

  • Unlimited domains
  • Custom AI check volumes
  • Dedicated support
  • SLA guarantees
  • Custom integrations

Tax Information

Sales Tax

Depending on your location, sales tax may apply:

  • US: State sales tax where applicable
  • EU: VAT charged based on your country
  • Other: Local taxes as required

Tax-Exempt Organizations

If your organization is tax-exempt:

  1. Contact support@sourcerank.app
  2. Provide tax exemption certificate
  3. We’ll update your account

Common Questions

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes! Upgrades take effect immediately (prorated). Downgrades take effect at next billing cycle.

What happens if I exceed my limits?

  • Domains: Can’t add more until you upgrade or remove existing
  • AI Checks: Monitoring pauses until next cycle
  • Manual Checks: Wait until next month or upgrade

Do unused AI checks roll over?

No, AI check quotas reset each billing cycle and don’t accumulate.

Can I get a discount for annual billing?

Annual billing with discounts is coming soon. Contact support to be notified.

How do I update my billing email?

Go to Settings → Profile to update your email address. Billing communications go to your account email.
